DW aquadopp: A Study on the stability of deep sea reclaimed vessels for deep sea flow

Deep sea Aqua dope is a single layer Doppler current meter designed specifically for deep sea use. Because the concentration of suspended particles is low in the deep sea area, the acoustic reflection level decreases extremely. Although it has been difficult to measure it under such an environment, it is possible to obtain high accuracy data by an algorithm which enables good water wave measurement with low reflectivity.
The shape of the sensor head is composed of three transducers in horizontal 120 degree intervals, with a vertical angle of 25 degrees. This makes it possible to measure the flow velocity of the three components and increase the reliability of the acquired data.
Long case can be equipped with two alkaline or lithium batteries, and mooring can be observed for several years.

Aquadopp：

The aqua dope is a single layer Doppler current meter that can be easily attached to the mooring line. Various heads are available to accommodate any measurement environment. The standard type consists of three transducers, two of which are open to 90 degrees horizontally and the remaining one is located at an angle of 45 degrees. Does this cause mooring depth without disturbing the mooring line? Velocity can be measured accurately.
It is possible to continuously observe the standard 9mb and one alkaline battery for half a year (one hour interval). In addition, since it is equipped with a waterproof connector standard, it is possible to carry out real time observation.
